Go Go Kidz TravelMate in Black/ Orange

Product Description

Turn your car seat into a stroller and make your travels a breeze! The Universal Travelmate is a handled, wheeled attachment that is designed to work with most toddler car seats. It is light-weight and easily removable by simply turning a few knobs. Most parents areaware that the FAA strongly recommends that all children under 40 lbs travel by plane in an FAA approved car seat. This presents a dilemma - how do you move the car seat and the various items of carry-on luggage through the airport and have a free hand to assist and tend to your child with?! Instead of carrying your car seat and child through the airport, you can wheel them. The gogo Kidz significantly lightens the load of parents on the go with toddlers and all their gear! It takes just seconds to attach and then your car seat and your child are ready to roll - right through the airport and down the jetway! In larger aircraft the go go Kidz Universal will actually roll right down the aisle of the plane to your seat. When you arrive at your seat simply place your child's car seat with the Travelmate still attached and buckle them in (a hint to make your life easier: ask the flight attendant for a Seatbelt Extender). The go-go Kidz Universal Travelmate truly simplifies traveling with toddlers!Works with Britax - Roundabout, Marathon, Decathlon, Boulevard, and Wizard; Cosco - Alpha Omega Elite, Summit High Back, High Back Booster;Eddie Bauer - Summit Booster; Evenflo - Titan Deluxe, Tribute VLX, Generations Booster, Harness Booster, Tribute 5 Deluxe, Chase LX; Fisher Price - SafeVoyage; Graco - Toddler Safe Seat, Comfort Sport, Treasured Cargo; Recaro -Young Sport; Safety 1st - 3-Phase, Enspira. NOTE: If you have an Evenflow Triumph or another car seat not listed please contact us at 801-864-4827.

My wife and I just got back from our first trip while using the TravelMate with my son. Based on the reviews I had read previously I knew that this product had some problems but thought that it was still worth a shot. I was pleased to see that my TravelMate had the improvements that other reviewers asked for. The wheels now easily come off with a clip! In addition the car seat is now attached to the TravelMate with a ratcheting belt which made hooking and unhooking the product extremely easy. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to travel with their kids. My son loved riding on it through the airport and having the carseat on the plane made him much more comfortable while flying.

Pros:
-easy to take off wheels with clip
-easy ratchet mechanism to attach car seat
-great for rolling through airport

Cons:
-None, except that though the product can be rolled down a plane's aisle most car seats will not so you must carry (not the fault of the product, but keep in mind)

Customer Buzz
Short story: Avoid bringing a car seat on the plane if at all possible. This product works, but is still a near-complete waste.

Long story:
I recently traveled to Florida with my 20 month-old daughter. I decided to purchase her a seat on the plane. I thought it best that she sit in a car seat while on the plane since it's supposed to be the safest option. Since I was traveling alone, I needed a way to cart around her car seat throughout the trip. This product looked like the perfect fit.

It worked as advertised. My Evenflo Triumph car seat attached according to the instructions. The TravelMate is sturdy and easy to maneuver. I did have a little trouble with attaching and detaching the wheels, but it wasn't so bad.

Then, the problems began.
-My child was very frighted by the incline while being carted around on the TravelMate. So, I just carried her and wheeled the seat behind me to the first flight. It worked very well in that regard and supported the weight of my checked luggage (40 pounds). I planned ahead so I just had one light back pack as carry on.
-The car seat would not fit down the plane's aisle, nor would the travel mate. A flight attendant had to lug the thing forward for me. Very embarrassing. Once at our seats, I detached the Travelmate fairly easily and attempted to secure the car seat. Not only could I not tighten the lap belt enough to secure the car seat, once installed my daughter's feet hit the seat in front of her. The passenger in that seat immediately turned around and began complaining about being "kicked." My daughter was less than 3 feet tall but her legs were bowed. There really wasn't any way to keep her feet from hitting the seat. After a bit of struggling, I just gave up and placed her on my lap.
- Getting off the plane was time-consuming and also required assistance from surly flight attendants. I rushed to my connecting flight and checked the car seat and TravelMate at the gate. My daughter stayed on my lap for the remaining flights, prompting the "how old is your child?" "why is this seat next to you empty?" and "you know, you can bring a car seat onto the plane with you" inquiries from the flight attendants. The latter of which received the reply: "yes, I'm aware of that and tried it but it was an absolute nightmare."

Customer Buzz
This product is so easy to use; even my husband, who has very little patience and inclination for reading directions, found it easy to use both on and off the plane. I can't imagine hauling the car seat through the airport without it. I highly recommend the TravelMate to anyone attempting airline travel with a toddler.

An added bonus is the Go Go Kidz' incredible customer service. When I received my order, I thought the retractable arm was faulty (it turns out I should read the directions, too), so I called the company for a replacement part. I was assisted promptly with no hassle, and they even overnighted the part which arrived the day before my flight. Great job, guys!

Customer Buzz
I have the newest version of the gogokidz travelmate, and it now has a quick release strap along with quick release wheels. So, there are NO screws to deal with (except when you first set it up - but those screws become a permanent attachment on the product).
The handle also goes from very short to VERY long - nobody should have a problem getting the handle to a comfortable position. The handle also locks into place at all levels, so the handle does NOT slip out when you don't want it to.
The company did a great job of listening to customers and making improvements. Great buy and very easy to use.
The easiest thing is to have security check it with a wand, BUT if you need/want to put your carseat on the security belt, you can easily detach the wheels and/or just undo the quick release strap and take the carseat off of the gogokidz altogether.
This will fit down most airplane aisles, BUT some car seats are too big, so you may have to carry the car seat - but using the gogokidz, you now at least have a handle with which to lift the seat. Safe Travels!

Customer Buzz
We love this unit. Do not travel without. Fits great with our Britax seat, not sure about others. Our daugther turns 3 in May, expect to have it for quite awhile. Only negative, yes, with the unit and seat attached...it will not fit under/through airports scanners. But takes only moments to put back on.

Customer Buzz
This product may seem expensive but the benefits are definitely worth the cost! I went in on it with a few friends since we don't tend to travel at the same time but after having used it I would pay the full price myself if that weren't an option. Many people gave us second glances and asked us where we found it. Actually many grown men were commenting that they would like to ride around the airport in style like our baby. The baby loved it and with the flight cancellation and other complications we had, we ended up having to keep him in it for a lot longer than expected. No backaches from baby carriers, we just wheeled him around while waiting in the airport for hours. Now that most airlines charge for extra bags, we were able to carry-on all our luggage without issue since baby was just like a bag and only required one arm. One note: some airport security personnel would not scan the baby/chair and go-go together. We did have to take him out and the seat and go-go had to be scanned separately so leave extra time to go through security. It wasn't too big of a hassle though. Buy this product!

Customer Buzz
I bought the Go Go Kidz TravelMate to use with my Britax Boulevard. So far I have owned the product for about 1 1/2 years and i have used it on several trips. I have found the travelmate to be extremely useful in both big (lax, dulles, las vegas) and even small regional airports. My son loves the attention he gets at the airport and it allows him to sleep anywhere since he is in his own car seat 100% of the time.

TSA will attempt to pass it through the x-ray machine or to remove the wheels or remove the travelmate. To combat this simply ask for it to be hand-checked and put the screws on the travelmate on tight.

Customer Buzz
Worth every penny. Was confused by the mixed reviews but this is a winner. The wheels are super easy to remove with the quick release. I only had to take the wheels off to put into the airline seat. I used it with my Britax Decathalon. Not related to the product but general recommendation when installing a car seat in the plane is to GET A SEATBELT EXTENDER. This avoids having problems removing the buckle from the middle back of the seat and this can be a real problem. It also helps being in the seats on the left of the plane when you board. Put the seatbelt extender on the side closest to the window first (the male side). Thread through the carseat and plug into female side (with buckle) closest to you. Tighten the female side closest to you all the way and then tighten the extender to get the seat tight. After the flight the buckle to release is closest to you and easily accessible instead of being stuck inside the back of the seat and almost impossible to get open.

Customer Buzz
Don't know if we really travel enough to justify this. I'm in a Moms Club and will offer to other members to use. I was stopped at the airport by a dad lugging a car seat. He was amazed and couldn't wait to get to a computer to order one. My daughter didn't even sit in it...but it made moving it easier. One tip: BE SURE TO GET A SEAT BELT EXTENDER from the flight attendent as soon as you get on the plane. Don't install without it. You will get the belt stuck and unable to release the buckle fitting.

Customer Buzz
We were a little hesitant to purchase at first because some friends had purchased two for a trip and had problems with the wheels falling off one of their Travelmates before they even made it into the airport. We purchased the Go Go Kidz TravelMate for a recent trip which included a short layover at a major airport. It was extremely useful in getting our 1 year old from one flight to the other. The only trouble we had was that it did not fit in the overhead compartment on one of our flights (on a smaller jet) and we had to take it apart before getting on the plane because it would not fit down the aisle. Taking it apart takes a little bit of time. It also did not fit through any of the x-ray machines. To combat this we simply asked for a hand check and went on our way. With the few drawbacks it was still tons easier than having to haul a stroller and car seat or buy a combo seat that can cost over [...]. Our only advice would be to attach it to your child's seat and try it out before your trip to get comfortable with using it.

Star Kids Snack & Play Travel Tray

Product Description

The star Kids Snack & Play Travel Tray provides a sturdy surface for travel treats and toys. Perfect for your on-the-go family, this tray is designed to meet the needs of today's travel-friendly children.

Convenience Wherever You Go
Every parent knows that when children can't reach items, they become upset. You have to stop the car or reach behind to get the items your child wants. This inconvenience can cause you delays, disruption, and stress. The Snack & Play Travel Tray enhances your driving experience by providing a flat, safe area for your child to eat and play. Fitting most booster seats, the Travel Tray goes wherever your car seat does--even on airplanes.

Child-Safe, Durable Design
Made of soft, durable, 100 percent nylon with soft foam reinforcement that folds on impact, the tray buckles around your child, car seat, or stroller. The Travel Tray is built with two large side pockets conveniently located within easy reach, as well as a two-inch wall to stop toys or food from falling off. Easy and safe to use, it is also washable.

Customer Buzz
We bought these for our road trip to Disneyland (12 hours from our house!!!). We had a 5 year old in a regular booster, and a 2 year old in a full on car seat with higher sides. I did what a previous review said, and slipped the strap behind the seats, clipping and unclipping the tray as needed, and they worked perfectly! They stay pretty sturdy if you tighten them as tight as you can. They were handy when eating, though I wish they had a cup holder built in somehow. That is my only complaint. I loved the pockets on the sides, where we stored baggies of crayons, small puzzles and hot wheels. They also hold sippy cups pretty well, but my 2 year old didnt really catch on that there were pockets there, as they were out of sight for him, so we still had to hand him stuff.

I ordered mine a week before I needed them, and I got them 3 days before the trip, which was great, as they need time to lay flat before use. (they are folded up in the package) I highly recommend these, for road trips long AND short. They saved our sanity! LOL

Customer Buzz
We bought one of these to try, works awesome. We just unbuckle one end and move the tray over to the side so we can get her in and out of the car seat. The side pockets hold the Ipod and headphones and its top is sturdy enough for coloring. We liked it so much that we bought another one for our 1 year old.

Customer Buzz
I bought two different trays for my children ages 19 months and 4 years to use on a long- 24 hrs of drive time spread over 4 days- car trip. This tray worked quite well for my 19 month old for playtime and snack time. The only real problem was she kept losing her sippy cup because of the big gap. We were even in a car accident that totaled the vehicle we were in and the tray wasn't a problem.
We used this with a Graco Comfort Sport carseat- I have noticed that many reviewers don't give the carseat type. If you get this tray and it doesn't work with your child's seat, please give the rest of the benefit of your knowledge and tell us what type of seat you have.

Customer Buzz
I bought this for my two-year-old when we were about to embark on a 1500 mile road trip for a family wedding. I was nervous to say the least! I fully believe that this tray helped our trip be a success! It is soft sided, so it was comfortable when he fell asleep against it. It kept his toys/snacks/sippy cups within reach and when it became wet from a spill it dried quickly. I don't think we would have survived without it!

Customer Buzz
What a life save this product was during travel and in the car seat. I wish the lip went all the way around and it was a little sturdier. But my son can color, play cars and eat w/out any problem. We used with the sit and stroll for flights and his cosco booster in the car

Customer Buzz
As far as travel trays go, this one is decent. Deep, easy access pockets on the sides to hold snacks, drinks, small toys, crayons, small books, etc. The tray has 3 sides to keep items like crayons and small toys from rolling off the sides or front. My 4 year old liked it for drawing in the car and eating her snacks on a long road trip. My 2 year old did not like it at all. Guess it just depends on your children. :-)

Customer Buzz
I bought two of these for my toddler boys for a long road trip across country. These worked out great! I was worried about them not being sturdy enough, but they worked just fine. They ate their food on it, colored on it, even layed blankets and pillows on it so they could take a nap. This really did come in handy for our road trip. I highly recommend it!

Customer Buzz
Star Kids Snack and Travel Tray. What a terrible piece of equipment.
It is nothing like advertised. Limp and flimsy and doesn't hold anything in front of your child. Don't waste your money.

Customer Buzz
I purchased this product for my daughters 6 and 4 for a trip from Louisiana to California. It worked very well. No problem coloring on it. I gave it 4 stars because the girls could not put it on or take it off themselves.

Customer Buzz
Loved this product and would recommend it to car travelers with little ones! It gave my 2 1/2 year old (as well as my husband and myself) so much freedom on a long car ride. My son doesn't get frustrated anymore because with the back "bumper" his toys don't roll off of his lap anymore. He can also eat lunch or have a snack more independently by keeping his food on his tray without us having to keep passing it back to him. The only downside is that he didn't like it on his lap for long periods of time, maybe because he felt a loss of freedom of movement, but otherwise we love this product!

Travels with Baby: The Ultimate Guide for Planning Trips with Babies, Toddlers, and Preschool-Age Children

Product Description

Customer Buzz
This book is a gold mine! Do your self a favor and buy one for yourself and a few more to have on hand for gifts in the future!!! I consider myself pretty well organized when it comes to travel with our son, but this book gave me so many more ideas and tips. Well worth it, and enjoyable to read!

Customer Buzz
I recently purchased several books on traveling with children, and this was by far the best. By the time I finished the book, I had several pages of notes written down, including things to pack that I never thought of, things to do before I go, products to check out and websites to visit. Reading this book has made me feel much more prepared and less nervous for my upcoming trip to France with a 15 month old, and I am confident that our trip can only go smoother having read this one!

Customer Buzz
A must-have resource for families on the go. Interesting reading and packed with helpful tips. Easy-to-use charts to help families find the best airlines, ships, etc. for their specific needs. Perfect gift for parents of young children!

Customer Buzz
Seriously, this is a travel bible for new parents. What a huge help this book has been from selecting a good stroller (wished we would have found this BEFORE we had our baby for car seat info too!) to calling ahead to find out if a hotel has a crib saving our trunk space from a pack and play or other. Prepping the diaper bag and carry ons have never been simpler and I have memorized the shopping list for baby must haves while traveling. Never would have thought of some of that stuff! The blog is excellent too. Please give this gift to new mommies and daddies with your baby shower gift...I am so grateful for the different age sections and different types of travel reviews. Thank you Ms. Rivoli!

Customer Buzz
I'm flying to Europe alone with my 18 mo old daughter next month and I found this book to be a great help in preparing for the trip. It contains a lot of useful information, tips, and things I would've completely overlooked had I not read this book.

Customer Buzz
I was given this book as a gift. I didn't think I would get much out of it because frankly, I'm a bit of a homebody--didn't love to travel before kids and certainly don't love it more now that I have two.

But we do *have* to travel several times a year to see family and "Travels With Baby", because it is so thorough, has helped make a few recent trips run more smoothly. The author is so enthusiastic and understanding of the nitty gritty of little kids' routines--I feel like I can leave home now and not get the kids too messed up from their all-important routines.

This book has actually made me excited to go to a kid-friendly resort some time in the near future. Rivoli covers the details--vaccinations, passports, etc., in such detail that there is no guess work for me. I really appreciate that.

Customer Buzz
I just picked this up for my step-brother and his wife who just had twins. They're planning their first trip to Europe, and this is going to be a great help for them, I think. When going through the book I found it to be really well organized with easy-to-find information, and a really personable/readable tone to the writing.

A great addition to any travel or parenting library.

Customer Buzz
I picked up this book since we have both a preschooler and a newborn and are planning two overseas trips in the coming year, and I have to say Rivoli is riveting! Replete with practical tips, the book also reads as a sharp travelogue and a bit of escapist literature for this blurry-eyed mom. The best aspect of this book is that it encourages parents of small children to pack their bags AND their babes and get traveling, whether to a nearby state park or 'round the world. While an unabashed travel enthusiast, Rivoli also devotes a considerable amount of the book to safety tips and precautions, and I greatly appreciated her practiced and measured tone throughout the book in discussing such considerations. It is an excellent resource and refresher for our family as we were able to do a fair number of fun trips with our older child but felt we needed expert guidance on planning a trip that included our new addition.

Customer Buzz
This is a gem of a travel book. As a new grandmother who loves to travel in the U.S., Mexico, South America and Europe, Travels with Baby offers invaluable tips that a neophite Nana might have overlooked -- from negotiating passport lines with carriers, babies, and bulky car seats to phoning ahead for info on cribs. The sections on traveling with marvelous multiples are perfect, as is the section on traveling by rail. My first proposal to the twins' parents will be a trip on the Coast Starlight - Southwest Chief to Albuquerque -- a trip that will reprise a memorable adventure I took my daughter on when she was young. (Imagine waking up in your own snug roomette to the sun rising between the buttes and mesas.) The new parents themselves love cruising and beach holidays; Shelly Rivoli provides wonderful information there, too. From cultural tips to up-to-date info and prices, this book will be a family resource. Travels with Baby: Two, please!

Customer Buzz
My 8 month-old has already been across the country coast to coast and overseas to Europe and this book has been such a blessing! If I didn't have this book I would never have known that you can request a bassinet for overseas travel and our plane ride would have been MUCH messier without Rivoli's tips for how to manage diaper changes in those tiny airplane bathrooms. The book is worth it just for the detailed chart of airlines and what all their baby perks and policies are. This is a great reference book to have on our shelves as our daughter grows.

Traveling Toddler Car Seat Travel Accessory

Product Description

ATTN: Britax owners. 2009 Roundabout, Diplomat and Decatholon models may not be compatible with out product. Whether flying on an airplane or traveling by train or bus, it is safest and most comfortable for your child to be in a car seat. But traveling with a young child, their seat, and your carry-on can be tricky. Not anymore. The traveling Toddler strap allows you to attach your LATCH and top tether equipped toddler's car seat to a rolling carry-on suitcase. Simply attach the LATCH and top tether straps from the car seat to the traveling Toddler and adjust the straps so that the car seat is held securely on the suitcase. Once adjusted, the car seat can be detached and reattached to the suitcase in seconds. Lift the handle of your carry-on bag and you have a fun new stroller. Now there's an easy and inexpensive way to take your toddler's car seat and other gear on your trip. You do not have to buy a special seat or suitcase. As long as your suitcase handle locks in place, you can push it like a stroller. Your hands are free for check in and its simple to unhook for security. Keep your child safe and comfortable in their own seat. The traveling Toddler has been tested with most major car seat brands including Graco, Eddie Bauer, Cosco, Evenflo, and Britax, and a variety of carry-on suitcases and has worked with every combination. It is important that the telescoping handle of your suitcase locks in place. If not, it might not stay extended when you try to push your child in front of you, though you would still be able to pull them. If flying, make sure that your car seat is FAA approved before traveling. The traveling Toddler strap is made from heavyweight polypropylene webbing that will withstand 900 lbs of force. When not in use it easily slips in the pocket of your carry-on. As with any other wheeled child carrier, do not use the traveling Toddler on stairs or escalators. Car seat and suitcase sold separately. Patent pending.

Customer Buzz
I got this for Christmas from my Mother-in-Law. It turned out to be perfect. I was not sure how to fly by myself with my active 16 month old. This solved my problems. Our rolling carry-on is old and did not feel stable enough with all that weight, so I just strapped on the car seat (Evenflo Triumph Advance Deluxe Convertible) and usually used my sling to carry my son. I still had a free hand! The diaper bag clipped to the suitcase handle and rested in the car seat.
Yes, security is difficult no matter what, but I simply un-hooked only the top of the 3 clips and slid the straps down the suitcase. Then just slipped it back up and clipped it again when putting it back together. The flight attendants were happy to carry the car seat to an airplane seat, and I put my son into a regular seat (strapped with a SEAT BELT) while I installed the car seat on the plane.
Sure it seems expensive for something so small, but it works! And it slips into the suitcase pocket for storage.

Customer Buzz
We've traveled twice with this product and feel it was worth every penny. Like one of the other reveiwers I was a little suprized when I received the package and there wasn't much to it, but I wish I would have invented this thing.

Our son loves traveling with his car seat and this was a great way to keep him in his seat in the airport as well. It made transfering planes much easier than what we had experienced in the past.

Customer Buzz
i will admit--i was considering buying this last year and read a review describing the simple construction. after further investigation found a picture of the product and using supplies from a local hardware store and sewing store i quickly made 2 custom fit for our suitcases.

i love using the strap. once you get used to the attaching/detaching process it makes traveling in airports with the car seat a breeze. great idea--2 thumbs up!

Customer Buzz
This attachment made hauling the carseat and two year old a breeze, with the exception of having to take everything apart for security, but since when is airport security not a headache?

Customer Buzz
I have a feeling that your impression of this product factors on 3 things.

1. What type of carseat you have. 2. What type of suitcase you use 3. Whether you've practiced a couple of times before going to the airport.

I have a Britax Marathon and a Costco Kirkland small rolling suitcase. With this combination, even full, both the carseat and the suitcase stay rock-solid and upright on a flat level surface.

As such, all I have to do is pre-set the latch connectors and the tether to the right lengths the first time. After that, it is a click-click with the latch releases and it stays connected to the tether. To reconnect is another click-click. No readjusting necessary.

This makes getting through security a breeze, my son stays in the seat until the last possible moment, then quickly through the detector and right back into the seat. no fuss.

It is a tight fit down the aisle of the plane, but the seat on the suitcase fits.

I'd give it six stars if I could.

The only thing I would have to say is that this thing must have the highest profit margin ever. It is an upside down "T" made of nylon webbing with D-rings on each end. You could make it with rope and or chain from a home depot in 10 seconds. You could probably even use a single, large (4-5" diameter) "O" ring and do the same thing.

Customer Buzz
This was our first time traveling with our little ones, but I can't even imagine having to have carried two carseats and all our carry on and manage a wandering 2 year old and a bossy 4 year old. For the times where we had to unstrap the seats to get on the plane, I was eternally grateful for the straps making it so easy to get through the rest of the airport. A MUST BUY FOR EVERYONE WITH LITTLE ONES!!

Customer Buzz
I was initially skeptical about this product, but after reading the reviews on Amazon decided I didn't have much to lose for $14.99. I just got back from a trip to San Francisco with my 23 month old daughter, and I have to say that I really appreciated being able to attach the carseat to my roller suitcase (regular, business-size suitcase) while going through the airport. It was especially helpful navigating the airport after the red-eye flight. I didn't know if I'd be able to maneuver the carseat attached to the suitcase successfully or safely with my daughter sitting inside, but it really worked beautifully, and I overheard a few "what a great idea" comments as I walked through the airport.

A couple of cons--it is a little cumbersome to attach the carseat to the suitcase, only to have to remove it while going through security and then re-attach it on the other side. Also, together with the suitcase, the car seat (Britax Diplomat) was almost too wide to wheel down the aisle of the airplane, but it just made it.

All in all, though, I really appreciated a product that I could easily attach and then stow easily when not in use.

Customer Buzz
I bought this product to carry my 15 month son at the airport. It's such a simple idea, but works great! I put my son on car seat and it was life saving for me. So many people turned their heads to see how it works. Only thing you want to be careful is to make sure not to tip over when you are putting your kid in the carseat. Because it can be bit unstable, depends on your luggage.

Customer Buzz
I used this method to travel with my 15 month child from the Philippines to Hong Kong to Paris to Dusseldorf. While it's a good alternative to a stroller, keep in mind a few things if you're traveling as the only adult:

- If you use a short-handled bag, you'll have to stoop pretty low in order for the car seat to lift off the ground. This really sucks when you have to walk a mile in 17 minutes.

- Make sure your car seat is not wider than the plane aisles, otherwise you'll have to detach the seat and ask the crew for help when getting on and off the plane. Because of this, we were last to get off the planes and almost missed a flight or two.

- Some airports (mostly international ones) have posts in front of escalators or elevators that prevent people from bringing in luggage carts. These posts also sometimes effectively prevent you from bringing in your kid/bag combo and you're left to find a good samaritan for help.

- Additionally, some airports have these narrow gates with electronic doors and weird metal barriers, whereupon a car seat could get stuck and the doors open and close several times on your luggage and child while you figure out what to do.

- Finally, the product is easy to use, but you still have to factor in the time it takes to put together. It may just take a few minutes, but those few minutes are precious when you only have 17 minutes to walk that mile.

Customer Buzz
This is the cheapest and best product ever! i'm 5'4, 100 pounds with skinny arms. i was traveling from VA to CA with my 16 month old alone. i had one stop in Atlanta, when i got there my daughter was sleeping in her car seat, if i didnt have this strap i have no idea how i would have been able to lug the carry on, the car seat and my daughter to the other side of the airport to catch my flight! It was a total life saver, espes since as the Britex marathon car seat is very heavy. it had no problem at all holding up the 50 pounds of baby and car seat. and my daughter slept wonderfully even being lugged through a busy airport, on a train, and up escalators!

putting it through the x-ray machine was a piece of cake, and it was easy to hook everything back together quickly.

best 15 bucks you will ever spend!

the only problem i had was with the car seat on the plane. my car seat was too wide to fit through the walkway. but the flight attendants were really helpful.

if traveling, you should really get it. it's a lifesavor.
