BedBugz Portable Bed Bolster in Blue

Product Description

Ever wonder how to pack your toddler?s bed rails without having to bring another piece of luggage? The Bed Bugz Inflatable Bed Rail is inflatable, incredibly easy to pack (it folds into a 10? x 8? x 4? case) and very lightweight (less than 2 lbs.!). These Inflatable bed rails will keep your child from falling out of bed whether they are at home, in a hotel room, in an RV or staying with friends or family. The Bed Bugz bed bolster is durable and easy to keep clean. To use simply inflate, and fasten the elasticized band along the length of any twin or double mattress. The Bed Bugz Inflatable Bed Rail really does simplify traveling with your children! (One bed rail per package). Additional Information: The Bed Bugz will also work with Queen Size Inflatable beds, pull-out beds and with a regular thickness mattress. This feedback has come from a customer.

This rail gives me the flexibility of putting it on my queen size bed when my son is sleeping in my bed or on his twin size bed. So easy to put on and take off! I've now made it a bit more permanent by putting it under the sheets. It shifts less and making the bed is now easier. My son also loves it and sometimes hugs it at night like a teddy bear.

This product is a safety hazard. I thought this was the greatest invention until last night. My daughter woke up screaming and when I went into her room, she had fallen out of bed and was tangled in the elastic strap. It was wrapped around her neck and arm. Thank the Lord she was ok. I am returning the item today.

We got this product to keep our 19 month old in her toddler bed, because she had fallen out a couple of times. It works well and she has yet to climb out over top of it, but I am sure it is only a matter of time. The only complaint I have is that it smells of plastic still--after 2 months. I even deflated it, took the cover off and washed it with dish soap. This did help, but I think I need to wash it again. Anyway, I would recomend washing it with dish soap and drying before putting cover on and inflating--I would wash it once or twice. The smell initially was quite strong--I was worried about her being down there with it since it made the entire room smell of plastic.

We used this bed rail on a cruise recently. This rail did the job, although it was a loose fit on the bed. I think the loose fit was probably due to the type of bed, i.e. non-standard bed.

I'll definitely use it again.

We took this on vacation with us and it was perfect for my 2 year old. I used it on a Queen size bed and it fit just fine. You don't need it to cover the full length of the bed, just the length of the child. I never had a problem with it coming loose. It was great to just take it out of the bag, blow it up and then deflate it at the end of the week to put back in the suitcase. I felt very sure that she would not fall out of the bed while I was in another room.

It seemed like a good idea, however I have yet to get the thing inflated. I'm not giving up but I'm not happy.

My toddler removed this in less than a minute. Yes, the strap was a tight as I could make it. I am hoping to use it up against the wall to train her to stay in the middle of the bed. That may be the only way we end up using this. It's made well and , in theory, would seem to work but it's not for every toddler.

The Bedbugz bed bolster works just fine on toddler beds. It is near impossible to find something that is safe and will keep your child in a toddler bed. My little guy 2, can easily get in and out of his bed but still has not fallen out while he has slept. I found tht if I have the band around the mattress as tight as it can possibly go the buckle can fit between the rails of the crib giving the bolster an anchor. Since doing this , the bolster has not fallen off the bed once.
I think it works and reccommend it to anyone with a toddler bed. I would get a regular bed rail if you have a twin bed with a boxspring. But the bolster works just fine.

I was a little disappointed to find that only one bolster comes in a package. I think it's really pricey to pay $40 for one in flatable plastic tube with a thin cotton cover. Anyway I went ahead and ordered another one just because I haven't found in other portable options for keeping a toddler in a bed. This one deflates flat so it's very easily packable. On our vacation my 2 yr. old son did stay in the bed but I'm not sure that it was the Bed Bugz that kept him there. One night I checked on him and the bolster was hanging off the side of the bed. He is able to kick it off with his legs. If he actually lays correctly on the bed I think it works ok but once they get turned 90 degress it's easy to move off. Then if they happen to spin back around they have no bolster protecting them from falling off. It would make more sense to me to have the strap go around the width of the mattress not the length of the mattress. However, I'm not planning on returning it because I haven't found any better options and it's better than nothing. I'll just have to continually check on it.

We replaced our daughter's tall, metal and mesh railings with this. It's cute and it makes is much easier to put sheets on the bed. In addition, it's easily portable (great for taking to grandma's house or on vacations). Don't pull the elastic band too tight - it will pull away from the fabric. But, you can still get it nice and tight without it breaking/tearing. I finally understood that pulling it tighter didn't change how it fit on the bed. The pillow will wiggle a bit, but it's OK. It won't fall off. All a child needs is just a reminder of where the edge of the bed is.
